Red Cross Renegade

This week we are celebrating Red Cross awareness month, we are holding an event at the store to try and help raise money for the Red Cross. Our event will consist of many silent auctions, a live drag race that is open for entry, as well as many donation opportunities. We are happy to be partners with the Red Cross over the past five years, and we have raised over 200,000 dollars for them. The Red Cross saves thousands of lives each year.

The American Red Cross is a nationwide network of more than 650 chapters and 36 blood services regions dedicated to saving lives and helping people prepare for and respond to medical emergencies. Approximately 500,000 Red Cross volunteers, and 30,000 employees annually mobilize relief to people affected by more than 67,000 disasters, they train almost 12 million people in necessary medical skills. The Red Cross is the largest supplier of blood and blood products to more than 3,000 hospitals nationally and also assists victims of international disasters and conflicts at locations worldwide. In 2006 the organization had over $6 billion in total revenues. Revenue from blood and blood products alone were over $2 billion. The American Red Cross supplies roughly 40% of the donated blood in the United States. We would love to raise as much money as we could for the great Red Cross.

Our event will be held on Friday March 4, from five to nine at night. We set our goal to reach at it is 20,000$ Polaris, Yamaha, and Skidoo have all be so kind to donate helmets, hats, gloves, jackets. And this year we owe a huge thank you to Polaris for donating one of their brand new 2017 snowmobile. We will also be hosting a snowmobile drag race on the night of the fourth, the buy in for the event is 50$ and their will be three different classes.
